The audience on last night's Late Late Show went wild after Ryan Tubridy helped orchestrate a surprise proposal

Have you ever seen such a well-oiled audience on The Late Late?

LAST NIGHT, RYAN Tubridy invited two audience members on stage to play Mr & Mrs.

Mullingar couple James (28) and Siobhán (23) happily joined Tubs on stage and told the romantic story of how they met at an Applegreen petrol station in Portlaoise.

Once Siobhán headed off, she covered her eyes and ears while Ryan prepared James for the proposal. They practiced a few questions, just to keep the element of surprise there, before informing the audience what was going on.

Even at this stage, before the proposal had occurred, Ryan had trouble keeping the extremely rowdy audience calm once he showed them the ring.

James didn’t even have to spend a penny on the ring, as it was given to him for the public proposal by Paul Sheeran jewelers.

Brace yourself for the huge cheers of “Olé, olé, olé, olé.” And it didn’t stop there. Many viewers noticed that the audience were a lot more lively than usual for the entirety of the episode.

There’s definitely a few people who’ll be too scared to watch over the show on RTÉ Player this morning.
