WE’RE SLAP BANG in the middle of awards season. The Golden Globes were awarded over the weekend and we still have the Oscars to look forward to in March, among the many others in between.
But perhaps the most infamous of all, are the razzies. These Golden Raspberry Awards are given out to the lowest achievers in Hollywood and the film industry.
The spoof awards take place on March 2, the night before the Oscars ceremony, and stars like Sandra Bullock and Halle Berry have shown up in the past to collect their terrible achievement.
Well, the nominations were released in full today, with Adam Sandler’s Grown Ups 2 receiving the most nods, a total of 8, including Worst Picture and Worst Ensemble.
Sandler himself made history when he received a record-breaking 10 Razzies for his previous work in Jack and Jill. Yes, you were trying to forget it existed, but it DOES.
Poor Sandler. Anyway, judging people harshly is a bit rich coming from an awards ceremony with a website like this.
