EACH YEAR AT the Ploughing Championships, one of the most popular draws is RTÉ’s Weather Wannabes section where attendees – okay, mostly kids – are given the opportunity to get their Jean Byrne on and present the weather.

RTÉ have released this video from this year’s championships, showing some excited participants giving it a go.
