She’s an entertaining and genuinely love TV host and presenter, and although her music career was fairly short-lived, the majority of her singles will remain etched into all of our brains for eternity.

Last year she took part in MasterChef Ireland and managed to survive until week six of the competition. Not bad. However, it seems that she doesn’t have plans to get any more involved in reality TV than participating in cooking competitions.

According to The Irish Mirror, the 35-year-old pop-star was approaching by Channel 5, who were interested in offering her a place in the Celebrity Big Brother house. Imagine how entertaining she would have been under the same roof as Gemma Collins and Tiffany Pollard.

A source told The Irish Mirror that Mumba had been offered a six figure sum in exchange for a few weeks in the Big Brother house, but she wasn’t interested. Samantha’s far too reasonable for that.

The source said:

She was on their list of people to ask every year but she kept turning it down – so they don’t bother asking anymore. Their last offer was well into the six figures but she’d never do it. It’s just not for her.

In fairness, can you imagine her trying to go about her life in a house full of Instagram models who are best known for selling teeth whitening kits?
