Here's why it was 'snowing' in Dublin 8 today

Get in the spirit.

CHRISTMAS HAS COME early in Dublin 8.

You might have to wait until November 15th to see Grafton Street’s Christmas lights, but this afternoon brought a hint of the festive season to the city.

Snow enveloped the Guinness Gates this afternoon, and people were very confused

Not to worry though, Irish weather hasn’t lost the run of itself all together. The white pavements are for a much more Christmassy reason. It’s all to shoot the new Guinness ‘Christmas Card‘ ad that will be appearing on billboards over the city. The ad is almost as iconic as the Coca Cola ad in terms of the official arrival of the festive season.

Passers-by in the area today were delighted with the glimpse of snow at the home of the black stuff

Forgive us, as it’s not yet Halloween, but we’re feeling kinda… festive
