5 moisturisers with SPF in them so you can stop being a lazy cailín

It’s time to make a change.

BEAUTY MESSIAH LOUISE McSharry has commanded her followers to be more strict with their skincare routine for 2019, especially when it comes to SPF

Sun protection is FOR LIFE, not just for summer, especially if you’re looking to combat the signs of aging. But, if you are the kind of person that would rather stick pins in your eyes than add another step to your skincare routine, maybe it’s time to look at your moisturiser.

There are a good number of high street/”drug store” offerings that have broad spectrum protection, i.e. UVA and UVB.

1. Olay Regenerist 3 Point Moisturiser SPF 30 50ml (€40)

Olay has a reputation for being an old lady brand and while this definitely isn’t the cheapest option available, this could be good if you’re after something non-greasy.

2. The Body Shop Vitamin E Daily Lotion

This has the added bonus of being cruelty-free, but you might hold off ’til you’re heading over to the UK or up north to save some money on it. (The Body Shop’s conversions are NOT a buzz.)

3. Simple Kind To Skin+ Moisture Cream SPF 30 (€9.49)

People with combination skin are fans of this.

4. Neutrogena Clear Face Liquid Lotion Sunscreen SPF 55 (€6ish)

If you’re been putting off slapping on the SPF because you’re wary of breakouts having been done dirty in the past, look no further.

Annoyingly, the only way to get this over here is via Amazon, or if you’ve an American pal who’s due a visit.

5. Avene Hydrance Optimale UV Light (€24.99)

This has a slightly lower SPF, but Avene is a well supported skincare brand. This is supposed to be used in conjuction with the brand’s beloved Thermal Spring Water, but you don’t have to just FYI.
