Excellent work.

IF ONE TAKEAWAY meal is going to be remembered as the defining Irish dish of 2015 – it’s going to be the spice bag.

Such is its popularity, a Spice Bag Appreciation Society was set up on Facebook:

It has over 2000 members and it serves as a place for people to post photos of their beloved spice bags and post their own reviews.

It has some strict rules though. Like:

Only pictures of Spice Bags / Boxes are permitted in this group.
Pictures must be of your own Spice Bag.
Pictures must clearly show the contents of the Spice Bag.
Your chosen vendor/price must be posted in order to facilitate grading.
Pictures will be rated on a scale of 1 – 10
Curry sauce is optional but not advised as it can contaminate the contents of the Spice Bag.

This is an admirable commitment to spice bag quality in Ireland.
