Poor Stouffie :(

CHANNEL 4′S SUPERVET is an emotional rollercoaster at the best of times, but last night’s episode really got people in the feels.

One of Supervet’s patients last night was a cat named Stouffie, who was presenting with a limp of sorts. It was quickly determined that little Stouffie’s leg was paralysed and further tests were needed.

Stouffie’s owner Paul said that the eight-year-old cat had kept him company since his divorce and provided him with a sense of purpose.

I think something that I’ve missed since I’ve been divorced is looking after people and having people there to look after. And of course you’ve still got that if you’ve got a pet, which I think is important.
Obviously you fear the worst. I just hope I can get him back.

Everyone was rooting for Stouffie to pull through…

Unfortunately, a series of tests determined that Stouffie had a tumour running from his spine to his leg and, as the prognosis wasn’t good, the decision was taken to put him to sleep.

What ensued was the most devastating two minutes of television ever.

People extended their condolences to Paul :’(

And held their pets a little bit closer.

RIP, Stouffie.

BRB, blubbering.
