YESTERDAY THE POPE resigned. And while now there is speculation over who could replace him, here at DailyEdge.ie we are interested in the tweets, memes and numerous Father Ted references that came out of the news.
Sure, Irish people will make Father Ted jokes at the drop of a (papal) hat but they seemed particularly fitting here:
