Wendy Williams got very honest about her past cocaine addiction

Wendy Williams considers it a miracle that she managed to overcome her cocaine addiction during her time working in radio.

The talkshow host explained that while her employers and colleagues were aware of her dependence on the drug, she thinks her performance prevented her from being dismissed.

I was a functioning addict though. I would report to work on time and I walked in and all of my coworkers, and including my bosses, would know but instead of firing me, you see, I would grab my headphones and arrogantly walk into the studio and dare them fire me because I was making ratings.

The 54-year-old, who made a name for herself as a ‘shock jockette’ in New York, sounds incredulous that she managed to overcome the addiction.

Reflecting on the tumultuous period in her life, Wendy said:

A functioning addict has several alarm clocks, you’re organised. It’s a miracle I was able to stop.

Wendy is currently involved with the Be Here campaign which seeks to combat drug addiction within communities.

Wiz Khalifa has a firm stance on how men should eat bananas

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club radio show, Wiz Khalifa gave an insight into the fragility of his masculinity by insisting men should not bite into a whole banana.

No, seriously.

The rapper had a few words of advice for any man who dares eat this particular piece of fruit without first breaking it into small pieces, at the very least, in half.

We’ll let Wiz take it from here because, frankly, we’re feeling a little lost for words right now.

You gotta break it in half. If you bite a banana, you suss. If you a n***a, n***as gotta break the banana in half. You gotta break it in pieces, bro.

When challenged by the show’s hosts, Wiz insisted his words of advice were akin to a public service announcement.

I’m just trying to help you out, bro. If you in public and you eating a banana, just break it into pieces.

Alright, thanks for that Wiz.
