REMEMBER THE LAST time you watched The Notebook, and began to imagine how different it would have been if Noah and Allie had been born, bred (and buttered) in Dublin?
Yeah, us neither. Not even once.
But it seems Enya Martin – best known for her Giz a Laugh Facebook page – did.
And it is absolute comedy gold.
Maybe it’s the accents, maybe it’s the reference to the 188 or maybe it’s that classic takeaway tug-of-war, but there’s no doubt this flick would have had us weeping with laughter – instead of just weeping – if it had been set in our capital city.
