The Pope tweeted that the earth is a pile of filth and the internet couldn't stop cracking jokes

Ah, Twitter.

TAKING TO TWITTER with your opinions can be a risky enough practice – as you’ll know the brilliantly snarky comebacks are waiting for you.

Now, imagine you’re the Pope.

Yesterday, he made this bold enough statement on his Twitter account:

And as soon as it was out there, the jokes started coming

Although loads of people had one very important question

The Pope could have been getting very specific though

In fact, chilling needed to take place apparently

It could also have been a subtle movie reference

But he might just have been talking about Twitter

Which would have been fiiiine.

But everyone knew the real thrust behind The Pope’s message

Yeah, that guy’s room.

Pure filth.
