Tinder is charging for a premium version and the reaction is exactly what you’d expect

Everyone is swiping left on this one.

TINDER ANNOUNCED YESTERDAY that the app will be introducing a premium service that will have a monthly cost for some additional features.

The dating app said that the people over the age of 28 will have to pay nearly three times as much as those younger (it could end up being €20 a month in Ireland based on the UK prices announced).

Of course, the internet responded quickly

The app will still be free to use, but Tinder Plus will give you additional features like the ability to take back a previous left swipe and you will be able to change your location when on holiday. The sticking point for most, though, was the cost

And for the under 28s, there will still be a fee to use the upgraded service

In general, the reaction was nearly universally negative. It looks like there won’t be too many people willing to stump up the cash

So, there will be approximately one person on Tinder Plus, looking something like this
