ON THURSAY’S EPISODE of First Dates Ireland, viewers witnessed an absolute car crash of a date between Kayleigh from Clonsilla and Ian from Castleknock.

Let’s just say there was a lot of groan-worthy ass talk.

To make it up to her, Ray D’Arcy invited Kayleigh on to his show last night for a special installment of Tinder on Telly.

The show found a selection of eight lads from all over Ireland and invited Kayleigh to swipe left or right on them.

She said ‘yes’ to three lads — Buttsy from Waterford, Eugene from Clonakilty and Michael from Omagh

The lads introduced themselves to Kayleigh and gave her some insight into their dating lives.

For instance, Eugene told Kayleigh about the time he asked a girl if she smoked cigarettes and mistakenly referred to Camel Blue as “cameltoe”.

Kayleigh and Mairead Ronan then pulled a Cilla Black and asked the lads probing questions like, “What song would you play for Kayleigh on a date?” and “How would you make sure our date was a successful date?”

Sample answer.

Shape of You by Ed Sheeran because I’m loving the shape of you.

There was also this rather priceless exchange.

Michael was asked how where he would take Kayleigh on their first date and he replied

Go for something easy like hiking in the hills of Donegal.

To which she replied:

I don’t think I’d go on a first date to the mountains with someone.

Sensible girl.

In the end, she chose Eugene (who she previously called a ‘ride’) and the two were invited backstage for a quick getting-to-know-you date.

When pressed on whether she would go on a second date with Eugene, she said, “I think we’re going to go to Coppers, keep it lit and see what happens there”

All’s well that ends well.
