This is the telly everyone will be talking about.

The Story of Fairytale of New York (BBC Four, 11.30pm)

With Richard E Grant narrating, this documentary takes a look at the story behind the world-famous Christmas song. The group return to the studio, the director recalls the original video, Matt Dillon reflects on his role, and Nick Cave and Jools Holland share their thoughts on the track.

Through The Keyhole (Virgin Media Two, 9pm)

Jimmy Carr, Jonathan Ross and Lorraine Kelly will be joining Keith Lemon as he rummages through the homes of the rich and famous. With help from the studio audience and through the power of deduction, the panel will need to establish who owns the drawers Keith rifled through.

The Real Full Monty (Virgin Media One, 10.50pm)

It’s been 20 years since its release, and to honour the British film and raise awareness of men’s health, Ashley Banjo and Alexander Armstrong put some famous faces through their paces in order to recreate the infamous strip scene. Are McFly drummer Harry Judd, Emmerdale’s Matthew Wolfenden and dancer Wayne Sleep up to the task?

Everyone is talking about… Gwendoline Christie

The Game of Thrones actress has added to the excitement surrounding the upcoming series by telling reporters that viewers (and cast) will need to seek therapy after the finale next year.

During a red carpet interview this week, Gwendoline, who plays Brienne of Tarth, said:

I think just the show ending is going to send all of the world into professional help… I think it’s going to make me incredibly emotional.

“We’re all emotional about the fact that this is the end, and this is the end of something incredibly significant for all of us, and it’s been a truly incredible thing to be a part of,” she added.
