What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

All of the TV you’ll be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Reeling in the Years (RTÉ One, 6.30pm)

Returning to work has been a shock to the system, and Reeling in the Years is always the perfect comfort viewing. (As long as you find impromptu crying a comfort, that is.) Tonight, to the sounds of Blur, Boyzone, U2, Oasis and The Corrs, we take a look back at the moments and milestones that punctuated 1995.

Food Unwrapped (Channel 4, 8pm)

If you’re among those keen to overhaul your approach to nutrition this year, the team at Food Unwrapped are keen to help. Matt Tebbutt turns his back on alcohol for a month in an effort to demonstrate the benefits, Jimmy Doherty tests out the best foods for endurance training and Kate Quilton weighs up the pros and cons of carb supplementation.

Saving Private Ryan (Sky One, 9pm)

If you’ve yet to see Steven Spielberg’s Oscar-winner, tonight’s the night to do it. Starring Tom Hanks, Matt Damon and Vin Diesel, this drama tells the story of a group of American soldiers who search the battlefields of France for a missing soldier.

We can’t wait.
