What to watch on TV tonight: Thursday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

First Dates Ireland (RTÉ 2, 9.30pm)

It’s Thursday, so it’s time for your weekly dose of romance (and, let’s be honest, mortification) from this week First Dates hopefuls. Tonight we’ll see if a Harry Potter super-fan will find her match among the Muggles (yeah, we went there) or whether Cupid has his arrow aimed at a Star Wars mega-fan. Expect plenty of debate on Twitter, as always.

Dead Pixels (E4, 9.30pm)

There’s a brand new series to feast your eyes on, and it’s kicking off tonight. Starring Charlotte Ritchie, Alexa Davies, Will Merrick and Sargon Yelda, Dead Pixels is a live action comedy animation, which tells the story of Meg, Nicky and Usman, online game enthusiasts.

Ugly House to Lovely House with George Clarke (Channel 4, 8pm)

A 1970s four-bed with an 1980s interior is apparently the talk of an Essex street (and not in a good way,) so its owners have reached out to the Ugly House to Lovely House team. As you do. Thankfully, Chris Dyson is on hand to help.

Everyone is talking about… The Kardashians.

The trailer that die-hard KUWTK fans have been waiting for has finally landed, and it’s as dramatic as you might expect.

Quick reminder for anyone who may have forgotten: Khloé’s partner Tristan reportedly cheated on Khloe with Khloe’s sister Kylie’s best friend Jordyn earlier this year. Up to speed? OK.

And as is known to happen with the family who have allowed a camera crew to follow their every move for more than a decade, Khloé is not happy that the saga is playing out in the public.

Or flick over for…

  • 60 Days on the Streets (Channel 4, 9pm) Hard-hitting documentary about the homelessness crisis in the UK.
  • The Perfect Guy (Virgin Media One, 9pm) Political thriller of a Thursday, lads.
  • Blue Planet Live (BBC One, 8pm) Immerse yourself in the marine life tonight.
  • The Rotunda (RTÉ 2, 10.30pm) It’s all go in tonight’s episode. It’s all hands on deck as a mother-of-nine arrives to deliver her tenth child.
