What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here’s who’ll be on the Late Late tonight – and the other shows on your Twitter timeline.

EVERY WEEKDAY lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Late Late Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Tonight’s main event sees Michael Fassbender, Domhnall Gleeson and Lenny Abrahamson joining Ryan tonight to talk about their new film, Frank. Also on the show are Tom Meagher (widower of Jill Meagher), Michelle Heaton and Jason Sherlock. Music from Paolo Nutini and Something Happens. But most importantly: FASSY. #LateLateShow

The Trip to Italy (BBC2, 10pm)

Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon move on to the fourth restaurant in their jaunt around Italy – Ristorante Oliver Glowig in Rome. We have no doubt this episode will be incredible fun, as always. #TheTrip

Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm)

What would Friday nights be without Gogglebox? Our favourite telly watchers are back to discuss The Man with the 10-Stone Testicles. We have reached peak Gogglebox. #Gogglebox

Trending: Eastenders

EastEnders BBC / Jack Barnes BBC / Jack Barnes / Jack Barnes

Between the new whodunnit storyline and Pauline McLynn joining the cast, Eastenders is really having a moment. Last night’s episode was the most-tweeted about programme in the UK – it saw the Beale family attempting to pick up the pieces after the murder of daughter Lucy. But who is the killer?

Or switch over for…

  • One Born Every Minute (RTÉ Two, 8pm) The stress and anxiety of childbirth take centre stage in this episode.
  • Crossfire (TV3, 8pm) The latest episode of Sean Moncrieff’s quickfire quiz show.
  • Lewis (UTV, 9pm) The crime drama series continues.
  • Watchmen (RTÉ Two, 9pm) Campy film based on Alan Moore’s graphic novel.
  • The Bourne Ultimatum (UTV, 10.35pm) Matt Damon is former CIA agent Jason Bourne in the third instalment of the action franchise.
