What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here’s the telly people will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Die Hard 2 (RTÉ 2, 9pm)

Is it as good as the original? Probably not. But there’s snow, and John McClane careering around an airport fighting bad guys. They’ve seized control of the terminal as part of a campaign to secure the release of a convicted drug baron – and there’s only one man to stop them. The perfect Saturday night movie.

The RTÉ Sports Awards 2016 (RTÉ One, 9pm)

Darragh Maloney presents live coverage of the annual award ceremony, which celebrates the many achievements of Irish athletes over the course of the last 12 months. There will be plenty of debate no matter who wins. #SportsAwards

Strictly Come Dancing: The Final (BBC One, 6.40pm)

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host the live grand final, which sees Danny, Louise, Ore and their partners performing three routines each – a spectacular showdance, a routine from the series chosen by the judges and the one routine they hope will help them lift the glitterball trophy.
