What to watch on TV tonight: Saturday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Euro 2016: Sounds of the Summer (RTÉ 2, 8.25pm)

Cillian Murphy narrates the official film of the tournament – focusing on both Northern Ireland and the Republic – with behind-the-scenes access and cutting-edge audio technology providing an alternative view of the action. It might only have been a few months ago, but we’re slapping a code orange nostalgia alert on this one. #soundsofthesummer

Braveheart (RTÉ 2, 9.25pm)

FREEEEDOM! The legendary Oscar-winning historical epic, directed by and starring Mel Gibson, might just be the best thing to happen to Dry January. Sure, it’s ridiculously inaccurate historically, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s a quality watch. #Braveheart

Amy (More4, 9pm)

Documentary portrait of soul, jazz and R’n'B singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse, where director Asif Kapadia traces Amy’s rise and demise over the 13 years preceding her death, telling her story via her music and autobiographical song lyrics, and video footage shot by friends and family. Well worth staying in for. #Amy

Everybody’s talking about… House of Cards announced their new season on the same day as Trump’s inauguration

Well played:

Netflix US & Canada / YouTube

It returns on May 30th (which is a Tuesday, surprisingly).

Perfect timing, really

And Trump himself even channeled Frank Underwood as he walked down those steps yesterday

Netflix marketing department, you’ve done it again.
