What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

Here’s the telly that everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Operation Transformation (RTÉ One, 8.30pm)

The leaders are half through their Operation Transformation journey, this week focusing on the causes of heart disease, one of the leading causes of death in this country. And later, Professor Donal O’Shea launches the Operation Transformation Free Porridge Day. FREE PORRIDGE FOR ALL.

Non-Stop (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

This week’s midweek movie is basically Taken but on a plane. An air marshal on a transatlantic flight receives mysterious messages in which an anonymous terrorist threatens to kill one passenger every 20 minutes unless a ransom is paid. He searches the plane for the criminals responsible, but his investigation is threatened when he is framed as being the mastermind behind the plot. Action thriller, starring Liam Neeson, Julianne Moore and Lupita Nyong’o.

Piers Morgan’s Life Stories: Mary Berry (TV3, 9pm)

We’ll never see a Ewan McGregor episode of this, but for tonight at least you can enjoy The Great British Bake Off judge looking back on her life and career as one of TV’s most recognisable faces.
