YOU MAY OR may not be aware that every year a Roman company produces a popular calendar featuring 12 Catholic priests. The Calendario Romano tends to achieve roaring sales because the featured clerics are… let’s say… easy on the eye.
The 2012 edition is out here now – and it reminds us of this tale of one Irish seminarian in Rome who was invited along to have his picture taken – but didn’t make the cut. (Seminarian Michael Casey may be a… ahem… fictional creation.)
