Watch: TV host makes bad jokes about Depardieu incident then loses it
TV PRESENTING IS a tough gig as we already know but when attempting to crack a few jokes it can become unbearable as one CNN host found out last night.
Anderson Cooper was attempting to add a bit of humour to his normally very serious news programme by cracking a few jokes about poor old Gérard Depardieu who is said to have relieved himself in front of passengers on board a flight from Paris to Dublin this week.
Whilst the French star’s friends have attempted to play down the incident, the star of films such as Green Card has had to put up with having the you-know-what taken out of him including by Cooper last night.
He made a series of frankly rubbish puns before losing his cool and descending into a fit of strange giggles.
Through stifled laughter and tears, he claimed: “Sorry this has actually never happened to me before. You always see this sort of thing on YouTube and you don’t think it will happen to you.”
Well unfortunately it did Anderson, and now you are on YouTube:
