Weatherman orders live evacuation of newsroom during Tornado

The southern states of the US have been under siege.

WTVA WEATHERMAN MATT Laubhan was live on air in Tupelo, Mississippi when a tornado touched down perilously close to the station’s building.

Laubhan continued to inform viewers about the gravity of the situation while he was live on air, before finally ordering all staff to the basement for shelter.

Tupelo has been the hardest hit as tornados touched down across Mississipi yesterday. Sixteen people have been killed across the southern states of the US.
