What to watch on TV tonight: Tuesday

Here’s the TV everybody will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Derry Girls (Channel 4, 9.15pm)

After the brilliant reception the show received last week upon its return, you won’t wanna miss tonight’s episode of Derry Girls. There’s a new English teacher at school, named Ms De Brún, who arrives to Our Lady Immaculate and the girls are immediately inspired by the woman. Meanwhile, Gerry tries to take Mary out on a date to the cinema, and things do not go to plan. At all. Back at school, Sister Michael takes charge of a precious Child of Prague statue – you can only imagine what’s going to happen with that.

The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer (Channel 4, 8pm)

Another of the five special episodes of the baking competition in which celebrities aim to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their skills in the kitchen. Tonight the contestants are Rylan Clark-Neal, Michelle Keegan, Russell Tovey and James Acaster. They face three tough challenges: topped flapjacks for the signature challenge, a tricky technical and a meringue showstopper challenge.

Home of the Year (RTÉ One, 8.30pm)

The judges examine a house converted out of three flats, a contemporary South Dublin home with a black and white colour scheme, and a slate house with sea views in Kerry in tonight’s episode.

Yep. The Netflix rom com is returning once again, with a Royal Baby storyline. Bit early to start talking about Christmas films, but look. (Jezebel)
