What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

Here are the shows that’ll be on your Twitter timeline later.

Every lunchtime, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Late Late Toy Show (RTÉ One, 9.35pm)

Get the new pyjamas on, light the fire, break open the first festive tin of Roses of the season, it’s Toy Show Time. This year we’re promised an extravaganza of toys, singing and dancing, and Ryan Tubridy will be wearing FOUR Christmas jumpers. FOUR! Gaybo only ever needed one. Just sayin’. #ToyShow

Graham Norton Show (BBC One, 11.05pm)

Meanwhile, if you don’t fancy spending a few hours jealously criticising talented ten year olds and coveting elaborate techy toys, you can spend an hour LOLing with Graham and his guests Nicole Kidman, Hugh Bonneville (he of the greatest episode of The GN Show ever), Julie Walters and Take That! #TheGNShow

Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm)

How drunk will the posh pair be? Are they all watching I’m a Celeb? How’s Scarlett Moffats tan this week? When are they going to make Gogglebox Squared – people watching people watching Gogglebox? #Gogglebox

Everybody’s talking about…. The death of the telly?

The CEO of Netflix is predicting that broadcast TV will be dead by 2030.

Reed Hastings says he believes internet TV will replace traditional telly watching completely in the next 16 years. He’s also blasted the way TV shows are rated because ratings don’t take mobile video consumption into consideration.
