Less than 3 years. I only met them recently, but we got on brilliantly from the start.
4-10 years. We've been good friends since school.
Over 10 years, they've been with me for most of my life.

The one that disappears on every single night out, but nobody even worries anymore, because you probably just walked to Supermac's on your own again.
The one who is walking home because they did not manage to keep taxi fare, despite promising themselves that they would.
The one that went off with somebody they fancy the second they entered the nightclub and will not be seen again until the next day.
The one that's worrying about all of the others and their safety for the entire night. You're bound to say "Don't forget to text me when you get home" a dozen times on every night out.
