Bradley Cooper's ex-wife would very much like to be excluded from the narrative... it's The Dredge

All the celeb dirt we could rake up for you.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Bradley Cooper’s ex-wife is not happy with the response to her ‘Ha’ comment

Earlier this week, another strand was added to the Bradley Cooper/ Lady Gaga saga when Bradley’s ex-wife, Jennifer Esposito, responded to a remark actor David Spade made about the pair’s performance at this year’s Academy Awards.

‘Is there any chance these 2 aren’t f*cking?’ he asked his Instagram followers to which Bradley’s ex-wife replied ‘ha’.

And as has been known to happen, the internet fell on Jennifer’s response, and took it as a given that the actress, who was married to Bradley for five months between 2006 and 2007, was equally as invested in the rumours as the rest of the world.

Turns out this is not true, and Jennifer is fuming that so much was read into one-word Instagram comment.

In a video uploaded yesterday, she addressed the furore.

David Spade’s very outward statement about something about an ex and I literally laughed at him because he was so bold in what he was saying and I thought it was funny. I’m allowed to think something is funny.

“I didn’t watch the Oscars. I don’t know what went on, I don’t care what went on,” she insisted before advising the public to devote their time and attention to more worthy matters in the future.

“To find that people are making judgement calls is really psychotic. What else are you doing with your day?”

Loud and clear Jen, loud and clear.

Word on the street is that Ed Sheeran is now a married man

According to multiple reports this morning, Ed and his fiancée Cherry Seaborn have tied the knot.

The couple who got engaged in 2017 reportedly wed at an intimate ceremony almost two months ago.

Yep, it seems Ed and Cherry were a married couple by Christmas Day after they said ‘I do’ in Ed’s country estate in Suffolk in December.

According to a source who spoke to The Sun, the ceremony was as far from a celeb circus as you’re likely to find.

“Ed got married a few days before Christmas. It was very quiet — just Ed’s oldest school pals, limited family and the priest.”

There were only 40 people  – so no Taylor Swift, record company executives or any royals or pop star pals. He wanted no fuss, and he wanted it to be something entirely for them — just a tiny, winter wedding.

Right, so.

Sarah Michelle Gellar is bowled over by Selma Blair’s grace and dignity

On Sunday, Selma Blair made her first red carpet appearance since her diagnosis of MS.

The 46-year-old actress, who was diagnosed last August, walked the red carpet at the Academy Awards with the help of a custom-made cane, then two days later she gave her first interview on Good Morning America.

And her friend and former co-star, Sarah Michelle Geller, could not be more proud of her courage.

In an Instagram post, she compared Selma’s approach to adversity to her own, writing: “When I have a cold, I want to hide from the world under my covers. But not Selma. She is facing this diagnosis, the way she faces everything, with dignity, grace and head on.”

Acknowledging that Selma, who Sarah starred alongside in Cruel Intentions, derives comfort from online support, she continued:

I know the support and encouragement that she has received on this platform has truly been a source of strength for her. This is not an easy journey, but Selma will not let this define her. I love you James.

Sarah’s post has been liked more than 155,000 times.
