8 everyday things you’re probably doing wrong

There’s a way to make drinks cold quickly that doesn’t involve the freezer. Mind blowing.

BY THE TIME you reach adulthood, you’ve got most of the basics down.

Things like eating and normal household tasks come easily to you, and you probably don’t give them a second thought.

Except, you might not be doing them as well as you think.  Here are seven everyday things you’re probably doing wrong.

Eating cupcakes

They’re everywhere these days, but the way you’re eating them probably isn’t the best way.

Potato peeling

Eh, hello time saver!

Eating ketchup out of one of those little paper cups

It’s great when you get to pump your own ketchup into a little paper cup because you can have as much as you want!  The downside is that it’s really messy.

Not so if you follow this tip!

Using hair pins/kirby grips/bobby pins

This one blew our mind when we saw it first.

Putting clothes in drawers

Why have we been piling stuff up when we should be putting it in front to back?  It seems so obvious now!

Apartment Therapy

Peeling a banana

This amazing Russian man will show you the monkey way.

He’s also got some smart ideas about peeling oranges.

Folding a fitted sheet

This is one of the most agonised over tasks of modern living, but we’ve got the answer.

Well, we’ve got a video of a guy who has the answer.  We like how he says ‘acrossed’ too.

Making your drinks cold quickly

You’ve been putting them in the freezer haven’t you?

It turns out that if you put a wet piece of kitchen roll around around it it will be cold in fifteen minutes.  No more rock solid bottles of wine you forgot you put in the freezer!
