MEET DJ, A baby sea lion born at Dublin Zoo.
He is the cutest animal you will see today.
DJ’s father, Danny – the patriarch of the zoo’s sealion group – left staff and visitors saddened when he passed away last year. But there was good news: keepers found out that a female named Sienna had become pregnant before Danny’s death.
Here’s keeper Eddie O’Brien finding a newborn DJ, who is clearly in search of a cuddle from his mam.
Warning: a sealion placenta features in this clip, which will go out on telly as part of The Zoo tomorrow.
