YOU MIGHT NOT be ready for this, and we’re not entirely sure that your kids are going to love it either.
Beloved 80s classic Back to the Future is heading to London’s West End.
A musical adapted from the iconic franchise will open some time during 2015, exactly 30 years after Michael J Fox and Christopher Lloyd blasted in to cinemas.
Written by the film’s director Robert Zemeckis, Bob Gale and Jamie Lloyd, the show will have new music and lyrics by composer Alan Silvestri – who composed the score for the film trilogy – and songwriter and record producer Glen Ballard.
Back to the Future fans have been reacting to the news online and it seems as though they’re not too sure what to make of the whole thing.
Some are utterly delighted.
Others are sceptical, but willing to give it a go.
Meanwhile a select few are already putting the foot down.
There’s already a bit of concern about the music.
And some have already hopped in their Deloreans to see how it all turns out.
Will the show be a smash hit? Or will Marty and Doc be put back in their box?
Only time, as they say, will tell.
