These spectacular photos were just named the best Irish Instagrams of the year

And Ireland is looking well.

TONIGHT IN DUBLIN, the Huawei Snapys photography competition held its award ceremony.

Public entries into the 20 photography categories took place on Instagram throughout 2016 – and the results were predictably stunning.

Like this shot of rocks west of Belmullet by Paul Gallagher – winner of the Wild Atlantic Way section

And the grand prize winner on the night – Liz Stowe’s ‘Love is …’ shot from the streets of Dublin

Andrew Sykes won out in the pet category with this gorgeous shot

And the Ireland award went to Ina O’ Murchu

And the Beauty Winner was Owen O’Connor with this

While the Best Community shot was this beaut titled: ‘You’re Only Massive’
