IRISH PEOPLE LOVE their burritos – and Boojum burritos in particular it seems.
The restaurant has claimed not one but two of the top ten spots on Deliveroo’s list of its 100 most popular dishes ordered in 2017.
With five restaurants in the city (not including the newest one in Smithfield, which opened on Monday), it may not come as a surprise that the Dublin Boojums have nabbed second place.
However there are two stores in Belfast, and they’ve managed to claim the sixth spot. Just how many burritos are we talking here? We can’t even fathom it.
The Booj were pipped to first place by Big Fernand’s burger joint in Lille, France, whose Les Fernandines cheeseburger is Deliveroo’s most ordered food in the world.
