Brian O'Driscoll got his steak salted by the one and only Salt Bae last night

BOD-level meme.

SALT BAE HAS been in our lives ever since he dramatically salted this steak back in January:

He’s not only become the biggest meme of 2017, he’s now a world famous celebrity drafted in to salt famous people’s steaks – like Leo DiCaprio a couple of weeks back.

Salt Bae came a little closer to home last night when the man himself met Brian O’Driscoll at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Monaco.

And BOD looked delighted with himself

Salt bae!!!

You’d have to think Nusret hadn’t a breeze who BOD was as he shuffled around the tables salting steaks of the world’s most famous athletes – but what a moment to see a meme play out in real life.

Simone Biles got a seasoning lesson as well <3

Usain Bolt got a Ellen-esque selfie with Simone, Michael Phelps and a host of other superstars

But the best moment of the night has to be Salt Bae.

Where next? The Oscars, please.
