Sigh. No, Cher is not dead

FORMER BRITISH PRIME Minister Margaret Thatcher has passed away at the age of 87.

#Thatcher, #PrimeMinister #NoStateFuneral and #MargaretThatcher are among the hashtags which have been trending since her death was confirmed earlier today, while the hashtag #NowThatchersDead has proven to be less successful.

That’s because it’s had to be explained to an alarming number of people that it’s “Now Thatcher’s Dead”, not “Now That Cher’s Dead”.

Cher is alive.
