Clare People front page splash causes panic about the Cliffs of Moher

Now that’s what we call an April Fool.

THE IRISH PEOPLE have spent the morning being fooled by some brilliant (and not so brilliant) April Fools, but this one from The Clare People is rather clever.

The regional newspaper ran a hilariously believable story this morning, which claimed Michael O’Leary and co had bought the naming rights for the Cliffs of Moher.

Not content with merely running a fairly funny front cover, the team at the newspaper also came up with this rather amusing ad to feature inside.
