Here’s where they’re heading.

THE DOUGH BROS are exiting the building.

The beloved Galway city pizza pop-up announced that Sunday will be their last day of operation on Upper Abbeygate Street, and people are devo.

The queues to get a taste of that famous pizza have been steady since the announcement

But how did it become such an institution?

The lads, Eugene and Ronan Greeney, began as a street food truck in June 2013, and opened up a pop up restaurant a year later after an increase in demand for their wood fired pizza.

The spot has been number one on Tripadvisor in Galway since it opened, with a massive following and constantly making Best Pizza lists in Ireland

People were raging at the closure, with over 5,000 reactions to their Facebook post about the move and over 700 comments of well wishes.

But don’t be sad, they’re simply moving

Dough Bro Eugene tells us their new home will be the old Cathedral Building on the corner of Middle Street and Abbeygate Street lower. Literally 30 seconds down the road.

They hope to be open next Friday, “all going well”.
