A Limerick DJ dropped the Eastenders theme tune on a packed RAG Week dancefloor at 2am

Get out of mah pub.

MOLLY’S LATE BAR in Limerick city centre was understandably rammed for UL’s RAG festivites last week.

At around 2am last Friday, there was five minutes left before closing and DJ JustG was on the decks with the dancefloor hopping.

So he dropped in the Eastenders theme tune to see how the crowd would react

Greg from Molly’s tells what the atmosphere was like:

Just G was just having the craic… it was the last night of UL RAG Week and the atmosphere in Molly’s was electric after the DJ played a few hopping tunes. He wanted to see their reaction to Eastenders – and he was building them up for a big fall.

Surely the best part was the banging dance drums mixing perfectly with the iconic theme

That’s good DJing.

Greg says JustG took a bit of stick:

The crowd started giving him the finger, they were not happy but they also saw the funny side to it

He should never apologise for dropping such a sick beat.
