YESTERDAY A COUPLE of lads who were clearly enjoying the heat decided to float down the Liffey at a very leisurely pace on some inflatable unicorns and flamingos from Penneys.
It’s probably not something that you should ever try yourself because it’s pretty dangerous for a number of reasons, but for a pool, these are pretty cute.
They were spotted by plenty of people heading home from work.
There’s no doubt that they definitely brightened up the day of anyone who caught a glimpse of them. There were probably a couple of double takes from pedestrians walking beside the Liffey yesterday afternoon.

It’s hard to decide whether this would make more or less sense to onlookers without the context of the young guys floating down the Liffey on these inflatable toys.
Ireland really does overreact when the sun appears, but you’ve got to love it.
