1,000 musicians played Foo Fighters all together to get Dave Grohl's attention

And it was not a mess. In fact, it was pretty amazing.

HEY, DAVE GROHL. Are you listening? One thousand devoted fans have something to say to you.

A veritable army of musicians from Italy banded together (excuse the pun) earlier this week to play one song, Foo Fighters’ Learn To Fly, all together.

Why? They want Dave Grohl to bring the band over to play a show, as they haven’t done so for about 18 years.

We think it’ll be a tough invitation for Grohl to turn down:

The event took a year’s work to organise, as creator Fabio Zaffagnini explained on the event’s website:

What we did here is a huge, huge miracle. One thousand rockers came from all over the nation at their own expense, and they just did one song – your song. We ask you, Foo Fighters, to come play for us.

How could he ignore this? Grohl, it’s your move.

A whole load of gas tickets photobombed the RTÉ News report from the Galway Races…>

Roscommon Herald just snagged the headline of the week>
