NO MATTER WHERE you go, you’ll always see someone wearing a GAA jersey. This is true of travel, yes, but it’s also increasingly common in films and music videos.
Hip-hop musician French Montana (a former beau of Khloe Kardashian) recently released the video for his latest single, Famous.
It was shot in Montana’s native Morocco, and features lots of beautiful, sun-drenched shots of the city of Chefchaouen.
There are belly dancers, boys playing soccer on the streets, hookahs… and a man in a Kerry jersey hanging around in the back of a party scene.
Look at him, he’s delighted:
Get a good puff of that there now.
It’s possible that he’s a Moroccan man who happens to be wearing a Kerry jersey for whatever reason, but he could also be a Kerryman who just wandered on set.
Another possibility? French Montana is a secret fan of Kerry GAA, and wanted to let us know somehow. We know which theory we support.
