THERE ARE BAD dates… and then there are dates where a man gives you his eyebrow as a token of affection.

Journalist Rhodri Marsden innocently sent out a tweet yesterday mentioning an awkward romantic encounter. A deluge of replies came back describing other peoples’ dating disasters – so many that Marsden, a columnist with the Independent, was inspired to collect them on social media site Storify.
