WE ALL LOVE our smartphones, but would any of us go this far to hang on to them?
A 16-year-old girl in the UK got herself stuck up to her waist in a storm drain while trying to save her iPhone.
According to the Dover Express, the girl had dropped her phone down the drain and decided to try and fish it out with her feet.
She then became stuck in the drain, with sewage coming up to her waist.
A passer-by said she begged “everyone that walked past to go and get her phone”. At one point, she even managed to get herself out before going back in to try and rescue the phone again.
He told the Dover Express:
She was in quite high spirits. She didn’t seem too bothered about being stuck.
The girl’s own mother was quite tickled by the sight of her daughter stuck in a drain, “laughing her head off” and taking pictures.
The fire brigade arrived and freed the girl from her smelly, dirty trap in about 15 minutes.
We’d say she felt a bit DRAINED after the whole experience. Eh? EH?
