LAST YEAR, WE decided to ask my dog Spider a couple of questions about what 2018 had in store for us. Here’s the original post, and here’s a quick run down of whether or not his predictions were accurate in the end.
If you check out the run down of last year’s answers, it turns out that 6.5 of his 9 predictions were correct. That’s actually pretty impressive, so we decided to ask Spider some questions about 2019. As with last year’s predictions, we’re going to try and keep it to yes/no answers.
1. Will Kim Kardashian leave Kanye West in 2019?
In my heart, I’m convinced the answer to this question is yes, but I’m going to trust Spider’s answer. Maybe she’s hanging in there for Kanye 2020.
2. Will Fionnuala Jones, Staff Writer at DailyEdge.ie, finally pass her driving test?
Finally. 2019 is Fionnuala’s year.
3. Will Meghan Markle’s baby be a boy?
Looks like Meghan and Harry are going to have a baby girl.
4. Will Jack and Dani announce their engagement in 2019?
Looks like Jack and Dani are stronger than ever after the breakup announcement.
5. Will a general election be called in Ireland?
Spider thinks that it’s likely.
6. Will Donald Trump be impeached this year?
Donald Trump will survive another year as President of the United States.
7. Will Dublin Bus fare increase again?
Surprisingly, the answer appears to be no. Spider has never taken a bus before, but again, we’ll trust his opinion on this.
8. Will Uber Eats become more popular than Deliveroo?
Looks like Deliveroo will remain on top in 2019.
9. Will there by any improvement on the rental market?
Outlook not so good.
10. Will Victoria Beckham show up at the Spice Girls gig in Croke Park?
This one’s a bit surprising.
