REMEMBER THE IODINE tablets that were sent out in the post a few years back?

Well before them, came this:

The booklet, which was found slightly water damaged in the Stephen O’Sullivan’s grandparent’s house is thought to date from 1965.

It offers advice on how warnings would be delivered, how to stock food, and how to construct a refuge room.
