THE OFFICIAL START of the summer in Perth, Australia is December 1st – so it’s safe to say that the beach weather is in full swing.
And so it was on Sunday, when Irishman Ruaírí Brannigan arrived up for a few drinks in An Sibin Irish Pub in the city centre.
The only problem was, the pub doesn’t allow people in who are wearing flip flops – so he had to improvise:
“When you realllllyy wanna get into the pub but you have thongs [flip flops] on…. so you buy the only shoes left in the shop…”
Ruaírí tells DailyEdge.ie how he got his hands on them:
It was about 10 on Sunday night – a small supermarket beside the bar and it was the only shoes they had left.
