YOU KNOW WHEN you’re feeling a little gross, so you scroll back through your camera roll or have a look at your Instagram to remind yourself you can look nice?
We’ve all done it. Even Katy Perry does it.
The singer likes to goof around on Instagram, posing in daft Snapchat filters and posting close-ups of that time she had quinoa stuck in her teeth on the red carpet.
Her last two posts have been in that vein – one was an old picture of her at 15, sitting at a computer in a grey sports bra:
And the other was a series of photos of her getting a face massage. Standard.
This morning, she revealed she was ‘feeling insecure’ about those last posts, so she Googled “Katy Perry hot”:
The photo that made her feel better is from a 2010 shoot with Rolling Stone, and sadly not a particularly good drunk bathroom selfie, which takes this right back out of relatability land.
Still… her honesty is refreshing and reassuring. Celebrities: They’re kinda-not-really-but-almost just like us.
