WITH SO MANY great movies coming out in the New Year, we’re a little excited. Suffice to say, each and every one of them will have a hard time living up to Kung Fury, if this trailer is anything to go by.
We’re gonna call it already. The movie of 2014 is definitely this tale of an 80s renegade cop, shot in a Sin City style noir while taking logic and reality to dizzying heights.
Director David Sandberg used €5,000 of his own cash to fund the project and has set up a Kickstarter to raise money to finish off the 30-minute feature which he’ll then release online for free. With his $200,000 goal already well exceeded, you can watch it soon on a browser near you.
