Good samaritan dog refuses to leave friend's side after he was hit by a car

Careful now, this one will hit you right in your heart.

IF YOU’RE FEELING a little emotional this morning, you might be better off looking away now, because this tale of a dog and his friend will tug at your heartstrings.

According to reports in China, a dog refused to leave the side of his canine friend after he was hit by a car and killed in the middle of a busy road in Yinchuan.

Sky News reports that the dog nestled into his friend and remained there overnight despite temperatures dropping well below freezing.  When the deceased dog was was removed and buried, the other dog followed and remained there until it was done.

Unfortunately, it is unclear what became of the friendly dog after that, or if he has an owner.
