15 coffees that are just too pretty to drink

Latte art. Put it in a museum, stat.

IT’S NOT ENOUGH to just order a regular latte nowadays it seems.

Now they need to come with some latte art.

Creative baristas are getting very good at swirling the milk and coffee together just right to make impressive images.

We reckon Japanese artists Kazuki Yamamoto might have the best of the bunch though.

Based in Osaka, he regularly tweets some of his creations which include some of your favourite cartoon characters and pop culture touchstones.

Here are some of the best:

1. This Jack Skellington that’s coming out of the cup

2. This brilliantly realised Big Bird that will send you into a nostalgia haze

3. The GIANT LATTE GIRAFFE!

THIS IS VERY EXCITING:

4. This amazing two cup creation

5. This slightly wonky but amazing Goofy

6. This “I’m just popping up to say hi” Hello Kitty.

7. Pink Panther being all suave on your latte

8. Winnie the Pooh and a fellow bear friend

9. Alice and the creepy as ever Cheshire Cat

10. Amazing 3D take on Toy Story’s Little Green Men

11. Pinocchio in coffee form

If only this was a cappuccino and we could call it a Pinocchino (sorry)

12. The jigsaw puzzle that would totally fool us if we saw it in person

13. Latte bunny cuteness

14. Pluto being adorable as ever

15. Latte proof that Mickey and Minnie are the greatest cartoon couple ever

16. The latte art that will make you weep for your childhood

And phone home.
